The Australian Space Agency Charter provides a high-level strategic overview of the Agency and outlines governance arrangements. Supporting development of the national civil space priorities, our new Charter shares the Agency’s purpose, responsibilities and roles of the Heads of Agency and Advisory Board.
Establishment of a skills-based Advisory Board will assist the Agency set strategic direction and monitor ongoing performance. Three consultation groups will ensure the Agency is informed by relevant issues and able to provide one voice for the civil space sector:
- Australian Government Space Coordination Committee
- Space Industry Leaders Forum
- State and Territory Space Coordination Meeting
Expert review groups will be formed as needed.
