Ever wonder what life is like in space? What happens if astronauts are feeling hungry on a spacewalk? Or how they itch their nose in a spacesuit?

All questions will be answered by our Aussie astronaut, Katherine Bennell-Pegg, on Australia's iconic and beloved children's television show, Play School

Katherine will take viewers to space and show them the everyday tasks astronauts undertake on the International Space Station, located over 400 kilometres from Earth.

This episode is available on ABC iview, and officially aired on ABC Kids today as part of the show's Mighty Machines' series. This 30-minute special was shot in an out-of-this world set with hosts Emma Palmer and Andrew McFarlane.

Play School is the second-longest-running children's show worldwide.
