The global and national space industry will descend on Adelaide, South Australia for the nation's premier space event, the 17th Australian Space Forum, held from 24-25 July 2024.

Government representatives, global space agencies and industry experts will participate in this year's program, with Australian astronaut and our space agent Katherine Bennell-Pegg one of the headliners for the event.

The Forum, delivered by the Andy Thomas Space Foundation, is Katherine's first Australian industry event following her return to Australia. Earlier this year, the Australian Space Agency employee graduated after training with the European Space Agency, making her eligible for missions to the International Space Station.

Katherine will share insights on the global human spaceflight sector and her experiences training with the European Space Agency as part of her keynote.

The Forum networking dinner on Tuesday, 23 July will welcome special guest Lieutenant Larry James, the former Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer of NASA JPL, and now recently appointed Strategic Advisor for SmartSat CRC in Adelaide and Distinguished Professor of Space Research and Innovation at Monash University in Melbourne.

The Australian Space Agency is proud to be major partner for this year's Australian Space Forum.
