Space helps us address society’s greatest challenges – from those we know like climate change through to those we are still to imagine.

The Agency has released a new series of educational videos highlighting how space technologies are helping Australia confront some of its biggest tests.

Protecting Australia's way of life

This part of the Agency's video series focuses on the practical applications of space technology in addressing uniquely Australian challenges.

Each of the following videos highlight how advancements in space research are tackling a variety of issues, including monitoring disasters and improving health outcomes.

From the depths of our oceans to the complexities of urban environments – discover how space is not just about reaching new frontiers, but also about finding answers to the challenges we face, every day.

Artemis unlocking Earth-based innovations

NASA is establishing sustainable exploration on the Moon through the Artemis human exploration program.

This part of the video series showcases the multifaceted goals of the Artemis program and the anticipated benefits of lunar exploration.

By venturing back to the Moon, we not only seek to deepen our understanding of space but also aim to unlock innovations that can enhance life on Earth, particularly benefiting communities in Australia.
