The countdown to the world’s largest space event has officially begun with registrations now open. 

In September this year, the 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) will be held in Sydney with over 10,000 delegates from 120 nations expected. 

The prestigious event will be hosted by the Space Industry Association of Australia in partnership with the Australian Space Agency and the New South Wales Government. It will be held from 29 September to 3 October. 

The theme for this edition of the Congress is ‘Sustainable Space: Resilient Earth’ and it will not only bring together the world's space community, but bring them closer to the Indo-Pacific region. 

IAC 2025 will also highlight Australia’s commitment to learning from indigenous knowledge and collaborating with First Nations communities on the deployment and use of space technologies.
